The people of the Gaza Envelope are not innocent civilians, and they were not attacked because they are Jewish. (They aren’t. They are post-Judaism because Zionism murdered Judaism by transforming Judaism into a program of genocide.)
The Gaza Envelope was attacked because it is legitimate military target. The Zionist state created the Gaza Envelope to make sure that the genocide would be irreversible that started in Dec 1947 with Nakba. This genocide will not have ended until Palestinians return to their homes, property, villages, and country.
The people of the kibbutzim and settlements Gaza Envelope murdered many Palestinian refugees that tried to return home from Gaza.
I have published this comment only because it shows how the Nakba is abused, as in Hamas ideology, to deny the civilian status of ordinary Israelis, based on events that happened many decades ago. It is the same pernicious ideology which some Israeli apologists use to blame Gazans for Hamas, on the grounds that some of them voted for it in 2006. It is essential to acknowledge that civilians on both sides of the border, in Southern Israel and in Gaza, should not be the object of military attacks.
Have you ever visited the Gaza Envelope? It has never ceased to be at least semi-military, and during the last three decades, the people of the Gaza Envelope have over-participated in killing and maiming Gazans. When the they are not shooting at Gazans, they set up lawn chairs to watch aerial bombardment of Palestinians as if it is an action adventure film.
From the standpoint of international law, the genocide has never ended that started in Dec 1947 with the Nakba. This genocide will not have ended until Palestinians return to their homes, property, villages, and country.
Genocide has been an international capital crime without statute of limitations since Dec 11, 1946 when the international community banned genocide and made this ban jus cogens. The mere existence of the Zionist state negates the international anti-genocide legal regime and undermines international law.
Israeli’s apartheid regime is a byproduct of the ongoing genocide and also a condition deliberately inflicted and calculated to bring about the Palestinian group’s physical destruction in whole or in part.
Please look up what jus cogens means. Palestinians have no right under international law to negotiate with the Zionist state to create an agreement that would legalize or legitimize any element of Zionist genocide that has take place since Dec 11, 1946. The issue is much bigger than the local conflict in stolen and hi-jacked Palestine.
BTW, my relatives have been leaders among the Zionist colonial-settlers since the 2nd aliyah. Two relatives participated in the special working group that meticulously planned genocide of Palestinians during the period from Dec 1946-Dec 1947. This planning took place in NY City and focused on logistics, PR, and the creation of a legal defense to an accusation of the crime of genocide. The JA and the JNF followed the Nuremberg International Tribunal and were worried that the Tribunal had made Zionism a crime in customary international law. This fear was confirmed by the Dec 11, 1946 unanimous UN vote that banned genocide.
